Project Architects: Visit: We seek to respect yet reinterpret generic street typologies by using a repeated rhythm of roof and wall elements to create a clearly defined street scene; standardisation that then allows for individual expression through extensions, terraces and customised facades. Roof profiles are pitched to evoke traditional house design and North facing walls are thick to achieve high energy efficiency and house all services, freeing up the plan. Potential extensions are future proofed by introducing side strips to each plot that occupiers can build upon without protruding and overshadowing. |
