6 different sized units are put together to form a terrace. The units range in size from a studio to a 4 bedroom house. Normally the party walls (walls that are shared between two houses in a terrace) are vertical. This scheme frees the party wall from this constraint allowing for a more flexible way of living. Families, first time buyers, older people can all share the same street space. Spaces are left for roof gardens and so that a unit could expand in future. It is also possible for this system to grow into a six storey building.
