YouCanPlan is the creation of Slider Studio Ltd, architects and specialist software developers. Working in partnership with the University of East London as part of the UrbanBuzz funded ESP-sim project, YouCanPlan's 3D software was created to to help simulate a process known as enabled self-procurement or ESP. This is where future residents of communities are supported as the developers of their own homes.

The YouCanPlan software is a multiuser virtual environment, developed especially for visualising housing developments, and supporting a greater level of user engagement. With its mass customisation engine it enables a wide degree of consumer choice in design and also enables democratic decision making of the public realm.

Beyond ESP, YouCanPlan has many applications including marketing new developments and urban renewal projects. Slider Studio are also interested in talking to developers, housing associations and local authorities who wish to use a more generic version of the software for their projects.
