The plan is conceived to be flexible and allow a wide choice of orientations, configurations and extensions. The square rotating plan helps with natural daylight and assists in meeting renewables targets using solar where required. Two storey versions with roadside parking sit alongside three storey houses with garages. The design can work as part of a family of dwellings incorporating pitched roof terrace houses, semi-detatched, detatched villas aswell as corner units shown in the Urban Context view. This helps lay out local roads to create public squares.
